- Wed. June 25, 2025 at Noon at Rodeside Grill – Friends of Gov Nelson will give an update on activities at the Park to the DeForest Rotary Club. All are welcome to attend.
- Sat. July 12, 2025 Fishing without Boundaries – this event helps individuals with disabilities enjoy a carefree fishing weekend on Lake Mendota with guides, gear and food at Governor Nelson State Park. All are welcome to attend.
- Thurs. July 17, 2025 at Noon at Rex’s Innkeeper – Friends of Gov Nelson will give an update on activities at the Park to the Waunakee Rotary Club. All are welcome to attend.
- Early August 2025 – Governor Nelson State Park’s 50th Anniversary – all are welcome to attend this celebratory event. More details to come!
- Thurs. August 21, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Waunakee Public Library – Friends of Gov Nelson will give an update on activities at the Park. All are welcome to attend.
